BY CAR The Conference Venue (Hotel Sarovar Portico) is strategically located and easily accessible by car from the city center via major arterial roads. The city’s ring roads and bypasses also provide smooth connectivity to the hotel from the airport and surrounding areas.

FROM AND TO THE AIRPORT The nearest international airport is Swami Vivekananda Airport (RPR), Raipur. Both the Conference Venue (Hotel Sarovar Portico) and the Cadaver Workshop Venue (Dept. of Anatomy, AIIMS Raipur) are conveniently located, with an approximate travel distance of 15 km from the airport.
- Direct access routes such as National Highway 53 (NH53), Vidhansabha Road, and the city’s main Ring Roads connect the airport to both venues efficiently.
AIRPORT SHUTTLE / CAB SERVICES Dedicated airport shuttle services and pre-paid/post-paid taxi counters are available 24/7 at the airport, providing reliable transport to both Hotel Sarovar Portico and the Dept. of Anatomy, AIIMS Raipur.

TAXI / APP-BASED RIDES App-based ride-hailing services such as Ola and Uber are widely available across Raipur. They can be booked easily using a smartphone from anywhere in the city or directly from the airport for convenient travel to Hotel Sarovar Portico or the Dept. of Anatomy, AIIMS Raipur.
URBAN PUBLIC TRANSPORT For local travel within Raipur, several convenient and affordable options are available:
- City Buses: A network of city buses connects major parts of Raipur to areas near both venues.
- Auto-rickshaws: Three-wheeled auto-rickshaws are easily available throughout the city for short-distance travel.
Note: The Raipur Metro project is currently under construction and is not yet operational.
VENUE LANDMARKS & LOCATIONS:
- For Hotel Sarovar Portico (Conference Venue): The hotel is a well-known landmark in the city. For precise, turn-by-turn navigation, it is recommended to use GPS or an online mapping service.
- For Dept. of Anatomy, AIIMS Raipur (Cadaver Workshop Venue): The institute is prominently located on GE Road, Tatibandh, Raipur, and is easily accessible from the airport and city center.
Both public transport and private cabs can drop you within a short walking distance of each respective venue.
